Supernatural Help to Get Where You’re Supposed to Be

Most Faith Leaders understand and appreciate the value of Helps Ministers. These are men and women who do a myriad of things that the leader of an organization can’t possibly do. Ushers, musicians, video and online creators, greeters, children’s church teachers, and deacons are a few examples of helps volunteers in my church. Don’t underestimate the value of those who assist you in doing what God called you to do. They are anointed to help, as you are anointed to lead. 1 Corinthians 12:28 includes helps in the same list as apostles, prophets, and teachers. It says, And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

Unseen Helpers

Along with anointed men and women, God has also given us unseen helpers called angels. The ministry of angels is often overlooked, but it’s available to each of us. So, we should know how to cooperate with them. Just as God created each person with specific assignments, He also has different kinds of angels that serve various purposes in His kingdom. The Bible speaks of archangels, or chief angels, like Michael, who is also a warring angel. Cherubims are worshipping angels that continually circle God’s throne in heaven. We also have guardian angels, as described in Psalm 91:11: For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. Other angels are assigned to help gather the harvest, as in Matthew 24:31, which says he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Angels to Get You to the Right Place

Another kind of angel could be called a leading angel because God can send an angel to help you get to the place God has prepared for you. You can read about that in Exodus 23:20-23, which speaks of an angel God sent to lead the Israelites to the Promised Land. It says Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him. But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.

Faith Leader, God will use an angel to assist you and get you where you need to be unless you are hindering him with your words. Your words will empower angels or restrict them from helping you get on the right path for your life. Do you remember the account of John the Baptist’s father, Zacharias? When the angel Gabriel told him he would have a son, he questioned him, provoking the angel by not accepting the Word of God. You can read about it in Luke 1:5-22. God’s Word still came to pass, but Zacharias was mute until John’s birth. Zacharias had spoken words of doubt, not faith, so he was kept quiet until the promise came to pass.

Led by the Spirit, God’s Angels, and Peace

It’s vital to guard your mouth if you want God’s will to come to pass. Don’t say things like, “This will never happen.” When the Lord speaks to you, get your words to agree with Him. Don’t say, “I doubt that.” Instead, say, “I believe that what God says shall come to pass!”

As sons and daughters of God, we are led by the Spirit of God. (Romans 8:14) But we should always be mindful that God can send extra help to get us where He needs us. Wherever you are in your journey as a Faith Leader, God has more for you to do. He might change the focus of your ministry or business or ask you to relocate to another city, state, or nation. Always keep your words in line with God’s, then follow the Holy Ghost, God’s angels, and most of all, follow peace.
