IT ALL BEGAN...
Keith Butler has served in the ministry for over 39 years. Answering the call of God on his life at a young age, he and his lovely wife, Deborah, started Word of Faith Christian Center in January 1979. Services were held in a small, storefront building in Detroit, Michigan. Starting with just 10 people in attendance, including Keith and his wife Deborah, Word of Faith quickly grew.
By 1998, Word of Faith had 20,000 plus members with Keith Butler as its pastor. Currently, Word of Faith Int'l Christian Center is located on 110 pristine acres in Southfield, Michigan. International was added to the church's name in preparation for the future world-wide ministry work that would come and is now here through KBM.
Keith Butler was the pastor of Word of Faith Int'l Christian Center for 32 years, during which time he established over 45 churches in 14 states across the U.S. From those churches, other churches have been birthed, resulting in Word of Faith, Faith Christian Center or Faith4Life churches in several cities across the United States.
While pastor of Word of Faith, Keith Butler also pastored churches in Tampa, FL; Atlanta, Georgia; a Phoenix, AZ; Round Rock, TX and Jackson, MS.

In addition to his many accomplishments, including various TV and radio broadcasts and appearances, Keith Butler is an author of several books.
